Based in Chattanooga, TN, Hot Damn is becoming a force to be reckoned with in clubs and venues throughout the southeast. With its roots in Rock, Hot Damn’s genre-defying music crafts elements of Bluegrass, Alternative, and Folk influences into its own unique blend of “Mountain Swamp Boogie” Americana. With musically enthralling sets comprised of well crafted original songs as well as a few select covers, Hot Damn is guaranteed to get a crowd fired up and dancing with a high energy show. What was born in 2012 in coffee shops as an acoustic duo with Hope Treider (vocals) and songwriter Jack Corey (vocals, acoustic guitar) evolved into the 5 piece powerhouse that is Hot Damn today. The powerful voices and fundamental harmonies exhibited by Hope and Jack are complimented by the outstanding musicianship of “Jelly” Kelly Turner (drums), Mason Tanner (bass), and the face-melting ability of Jonathan Wimpee (electric guitar); these well-crafted songs, scorching guitar riffs, and windblown vocal harmonies mesh to form a sonic American quilt any audience is glad to wrap themselves in.
